@andreasdotorg @ariadne @falcon Chrome needs "is an outlier" meme treatment. It is possibly the worst piece of "FOSS" sw in this regard, and incidentally probably would not be helped at all by Rust, because most of the problems are related to their garbage JIT and spatial & temporal bounds in things mediating it with the host language code, which would all be unsafe. The problem is the development culture around performance and move fast break things.

@dalias @andreasdotorg @ariadne and yet Chromium is among the most broadly impactful code that exists. To me this signals that "the problem" lies elsewhere, probably in the things us LangSec people have been on about for over a decade.
