god damn, recruiters pestering me now over literal-fucking-dream-jobs in a city interstate that I actually kinda wanna relocate to. weird fucking timing though. I've got juniors below me I really wanna make sure are looked after during this buyout.

spoke to the technical director of the big mega company that's bought us out again today, they're coming back in two weeks time and he's bringing their other senior engineers who are apparently super super interested in my datacentre setup, I know they've seen the proposal document I wrote for the network redesign of it, gonna be weird to having other technical people interrogate me over its design and some of the choices I made.
