     My Ukrainian friend has never used a firearm, so of course I took her to the shooting range. I explain proper safety to her, we drive there, she has all her proper identification, and... Oh, Ukraine is not on the Department of Homeland Security's whitelist of countries? She's not allowed to shoot? We turn around and leave.
     
     And we call ourselves a free country...
