When I was a young haole growing up in small town Kona, Hawaii in the ‘70’s & ‘80’s, I really hated learning Hawaiian history EVERY YEAR! 😒 Now that I’m old, I’m so grateful. 🙌 So grateful for the perspective of a colonized people. It’s clear most white people, particularly Americans don’t understand the perspective of half the world!! Colonized people don’t have to act the way you think they should! They have every right to do whatever they have to to save their land & people!
