the question that remains unanswered is what will conservatives do when they realize law in the united states is a cruel joke

@PunishedD that's not them realizing, though. that's them pretending it isn't a joke.

@sickburnbro Rely on the temporarily slightly conservative SCOTUS to save them.

@sickburnbro Beg for mercy while throwing each other under the bus.

@Ariovistus there are certainly ones that will do that, but if you talk to some of them, some of them are pretty fucking angry.

@SuperSnekFriend @PunishedD for sure. the vast majority of conservative influencers are totally controlled.
I think the pushback against Benji are interesting to keep track of, though.
I think a lot of them still are in the "it's a job" phase, but there is some fear creeping in, which is gonna be funny.

@sickburnbro @PunishedD I still don't believe the vast majority of conservative influencers are legitimately trying explain an accurate picture of the dismal reality. At least 20% of them are malicious even if they believe what they say to people, and a few know what they push is bullshit but they love their true alliances more than White America.

@Ariovistus Con INC is yes. But individual people are not. What they can be is bought into the Con Inc scam on different levels and unwilling to dump an emotional investment.
What I'm saying is, people will - and you can see this by what happened to the shitty "border" bill in the senate.
The part to think on is - can we make some projections of what would cause a sizeable chunk to change their opinions?

@sickburnbro So? Conservatism is a vehicle to direct anger into lower taxes for billionaires and wars for israel. They will bloviate and then insert the dildo...

@Ariovistus I have been waiting for the judicial branch to beclown themselves for a long time.
And I think this full frontal "the emperor has no clothes" assault of multiple wackadoodle trump trials has a good chance of doing it.

@Ariovistus I think most conservatives have been willing to say there are serious problems with the judicial for a long time. But they've been confident that they would get a fair shake.
When they stop believing that -- that is when things get hilarious.
