   @erincandescent @Lunaphied Well wouldn't the content-type header be enough then?
   At least I doubt anyone would shoot themselves in the foot to the point of having something like a file-extension mapped to application/activity+json (and that long application/ld+json … one I'm not going to type out).

     @Lunaphied (or maybe just some means of signalling “yes this response is supposed to be ‘ActivityPub Active’; I guess we don’t really need signatures for that)
