   Checking some old storage at old house and found mu #ubuntu cds that came by mail at the time. They still look good and probably work fine 😃

     @vascorsd and it has the anti-skip! how big was the buffer? I paid a ton of money for a Sony with a huge one that made it nearly impossible to skip. I was able to bike and run with that bad boy and listen to my MP3s

     I'm glad that 90% of the many cds and dvds that I've burned almost 20 years ago seem to be without dark spots and seem well preserved enough. Likely they will still work. Anyone needs a roller coaster tycoon 2 copy or a windows 98 cd? 😃😅

     All the anime piracy seems well preserved too. At least they look good. I bet if I still had a thing to read them they would fail a lot.
