I generally block anyone whose argument starts with telling people to "grow the fuck up," as if they're the sole arbiters of mature moral thinking, when they are inevitably willing to make concessions about other people's lives that don't affect them personally.

or if we're prepared to take a REALLY hard look at ourselves, just stop whoever's been tying people to the tracks so we can keep the infrastructure. but that would require a degree of honesty few are ready for.

Compressing our political realities down to a binary black and white choice may make you feel better but it doesn't make you smart or serious. It just means you're too immature to handle those realities.
