For anyone who hasn't figured this out: going around "correcting" people's English on social media constitutes a campaign of harassment of POC, working class and neurodivergent users. Do not expect this behaviour to be tolerated on Mastodon/the Fediverse. Question the colonialist narrative that made you think there is a "correct" form of English as defined by the white upper classes.
