   if y'all have been seeing the weird japanese spam posts, here's a mild FYI -- it appears to be some kind of botswarm that is attacking tiny, open-registration misskey instances

   i've seen two so far today that had single digit active users for their entire lifespam through to yesterday, and now have 1000-1300 active users, all of them bots spamming the exact same shit

   ...one of those two seems to have been a pedo instance so, you know, no real loss there, but be aware i guess
