   This is the heart of the issue: "It's ironic, perhaps even hypocritical, to basically give pedestrians so little infrastructure and then blame them when they do something which we consider to be irrational.”

     Nice, punchy discussion of our study on who gets blamed when a driver hits pedestrian. The neighborhood matters; individual blame is distracting us from the deeper problem - the lack of pedestrian infrastructure
