Might be worth investigating recording by The Nice (the organ sound is reminiscent of Keith Emerson at that period, and the drumming is quite Bruce Davison-ey)

Although someone elsewhere has suggested Procul Harum. Nevertheless it’s lovely and just echoes the feel of Britain in the mid-1970s for me.
