6 accounts appearing to be Russian in origin have followed or requested to follow (🚩problematic) me in the last few days. Here is the biggest clue I can offer here on Mastodon: If an account follows you but does not like any of your posts or posts you boost, you should probably block them. The bots, spammers, and trolls have arrived in significant numbers.

Beyond that, posts entirely in Russian containing obvious propaganda are the biggest clue.
