   i like how electrical components are generally like little functional talismans but since they're wrapped in little tape or plastic or whatever we just think they're little legos or something and happily build them into whole things
   in the past this would've just been considered witchcraft

     nowadays we have nontechnical people wanting to put sausages in places they should not go

     @shibao@misskey.bubbletea.dev that’s the thing I find the scary about the warhammer 40k dystopia. Just have some sort of modern dark age aaand all the knowledge how technology works is gone and it’s basically recognised as witchcraft to know your way around it.
     
     And honestly, having worked in very tech illiterate environments, being an educated user already is close to witchcraft to many of my coworkers I think. :Blobhaj_Witch:
