Also, owners of corporate sites are those least likely to take personal risks to protect their users from cops on fishing expeditions. I once burned a grand jury subpeona in front of the courthouse instead of complying. Care to guess how many CEO's would respond to a data subpeona (the kind I burned) the same way?

Connecting semisecure and non-secure compartments together without special precautions in between is not a good idea. Would be like opening watertight doors on a ship under battle conditions.
