     That's how it's kind of been for me, since I work from home and am hardly away from the wife and kids. We're also trying to buy a farm this year or next, so we can have sheep/chickens/horses again and homeschool the kids, so I'll probably be around moreso.
     
     But I want to branch out beyond computer work/browsing fedi. I'll probably help my brother with his contracting business and do more hands-on work. So I expect my activity here will eventually taper off as well.
     
     Speaking of which, taking the kids to Denny's now since it's free today. So ttyl.

     @parker @Leaflord @GoodBoyUV @Will2Power I dunno how it’s going to play out to be honest, because I’m a subsistence farmer by trade. I can’t exactly roam around the garden shouting at crops to make them grow, so my wife and I will probably have free time.

     But she’ll also likely be finished with uni, so I’m not going to be alone in the house 6-12 hours a day and can do things with her instead. I anticipate a great amount of business, but I’ve got this really weird baseline atm where having to leave the property for something other than driving the woman, or cycling qualifies as a ‘big day.’

     Maybe nothing will change in any meaningful fashion, regarding how much time i have to scroll. Maybe it will only change when the children can understand me when I read to them. idk.

     I was more active here a year ago when my third son was born. Cooped up with illness so not much to do but shitpost. Though my activity here has been dying down over the last year.
