   Finally got the car starting, freaking battery costed 100bucks instead of 50 and it's only warrantied 3 years, even HDDs have better warranties than this for this price !

     @ooignignoktoo I'd just to point out that in many countries that warranty is still valid if something dies a short time after the warranty lapses (a little less than a month).

     @mangeurdenuage Car battery prices are nuts right now. My last battery that lasted 3 years and I had to replace cost me $250 died right after the warranty gave out.

     @ooignignoktoo @mangeurdenuage Lead-acid card batteries surprisingly aren't that polluting if they're actually recycled - as the plastic, acid and lead is all plenty reusable - the paper is the main thing that can't be recycled really.
     
     Rather than doing that, people dump car batteries into landfill or the ocean of course.
