Whoever at Lettermatic invented this innovative “Texture Healing” approach to more legible monospaced fonts is the most awesomest. So darn clever: a letter that needs more space (e.g. M W m w) can dynamically “borrow” from an adjacent letter that doesn’t need so much (e.g. I i l f).
