@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social My understanding is that Broadcom doesn't care the impact to customers, unless you're in their top X of customers (and then they care about how to squeeze them harder), and the difference in scale between those top X and average shops is massive. But that is just based on other posts/vibes.
But besides that, seriously asking here, what is the alternative for on-prem infra? XCP-ng? I'd be laughed out of the room if I suggested Proxmox or OpenStack, but I really don't know what the landscape looks like these days because VMWare has such a stranglehold in the space.
