   @NoBeret i'm not sure the article makes it sound much better. it goes on about how he came up with various ways to coerce compliance--but they kinda worked, even though he had to fine tune and figure out exactly how.
   
   we just lived through a successful execution of one of those on a global scale.

     Occasional reminder, Milgram made up his report. It was exposed as fraud over a decade ago.
     If you see people parroting the old story, you might want to find better sources of information.
