@liztai Putinˋs perspective obviously matters. He’s the one who started this war after all. He has layed it out before in an essay and a couple of speeches, which have all been translated into English and other languages. Just don’t call this interview „actual journalism“. That’s definitely not what it is. And we should not be blind about what both Putin and Carlson are trying to achieve here.
@liztai An actual journalist should do more than asking a question once in a while when he is allowed to. He should be prepared. He should know who he is talking to and what he is talking about. He should not let the interviewed person monologize for half an hour, and he should be able to confront them with the facts where necessary.
