   @assortedfiles I’d forgotten they had changed it from Cancer Man to Smoking Man.

   Why was that?
   Was there actually enough pushback from cigarette manufacturers even then to warrant backing down on the name? 🤔

     @feld @assortedfiles Seems he was only referred to as Cancer Man in one episode. Though I definitely remember that coming up more often.

     Also, my error: it was changed to “Cigarette Smoking Man”, which is even more of a mouthful.

     Cancer Man is far more ominous. Much better name, really. 🤷♂️
