     Here is the reality check:

     Rates of dementia and mild cognitive impairment rise sharply with age: 3% of people between 65 and 69 have dementia, rising to 35% for people age 90 and over.

     Around 30% of all males 83 and older have dementia.

     Yet, it was only one group of ableist white supremacists who supported a sitting president credibly considered to have dementia.

     Whether Woodrow Wilson or Ronald Reagan, both were voted in largely by conservative white people.

     @hannu_ikonen It's more embarassing than that: one of the supposed statements of "confusion" was Biden asking "was I Vice President in 2017?"

     It is possible that this is evidence of dementia, but...I am thinking of the various questions that would elicit this answer. I'm pretty sure this was Biden responding to a stupid question with a rhetorical one.
