I also tried BlueSky and here are some quick takeaways:
- The app sucks and the experience is terrible. It's like using an older, jankier version of Twitter.
- It's dead. It's an empty, dead network with very little going on.
- It's not decentralized. BlueSky can claim to be decentralized all it wants, but, at present, it's one single centralized instance with no federation to any remote servers using the protocol.
