   Xbox is probably being killed off next week
   My guess is investors wanted to see returns on all the massive buy outs
   And that will never happen with exclusive games, because Exclusives don't make money in 2023.
   
   A console market being only Playstation & Nintendo is going to be actually dreadful imo
   
   And of course all of this is happening when GPU prices are soaring and windows 10 is being sunsetted.
   PC gaming is as inaccessible as it's been in decades

     @kirby We don't know for sure but the writing is on the wall and Phil has already spoken out
     We've been told there will be a business meeting in one weeks time where all their exclusives will be going to the other consoles
     
     Basically it's a Sega turn, Series X is the dreamcast

     I wonder how they handle shutting down the servers — won't happen right now, but sooner or later will. Will I be able to at least download updates for the games I have on physical media to back them up locally? 🤔

     Xbox 360 stuff is still up right now and that came out 20 years ago

     True, Windows 10 Mobile has been phased out what, like 5 years ago? But Microsoft Store still somewhat works — the search is broken and some apps aren't easy to find, but to some extent it works.
     To my surprise, they aren't even the best in this regard, Apple has recently made the App Store work on original (2g) iPhones again 😂

     So true — I don't even know what they use all the power of modern system for? My current phone is more powerful than some computers I use quite comfortably😅
     And it's a fucking midrange phone, that is insane!

     My most recent desktop is ancient. I got it in 2005 from a storage sale. It is the perfect programming environment.
