     @RustyBertrand Sadly, many (in the US, etc.) know that if they speak up they/their families will lose their jobs and livelihoods. In a place like the US that has a medieval social welfare system, losing your job could also very easily mean losing your life. The billionaire class has basically made it clear that if you speak up for Palestinians they will destroy you.

     (I’m not trying to defend those who do stay silent, just saying some – nay, many – are being coerced to do so.)
