   @jni Don't worry, it's not your software! Also if it were I would just deflect and say it wasn't, anyway. Hm, I suppose that was probably not very reassuring ... :)

   I am prone to thinking I've done something wrong, but in fairness to the authors the specific library I was referencing seems to be new, undergoing rapid change, and has the very best of intentions. (And way better docs than I'd expect for an incubating project like that!)

     @powersoffour the problem with a toot like this is that literally every* software author will wonder if you are talking about their software and it’ll eat them up inside 😅

     Found an awesome new tool with a shiny blog post and set of docs and the very first example doesn't do what it says it does and I honestly just feel really sad.

     (Before you ask, I can't figure out *why* it doesn't, so I can't submit a fix!)
