"Traditional values" means a farmer or trade guildsman ruling over his family like a king, spending all day working with his kids, bonding with them and enfranchising them in his craft. It doesn't mean an urban cosmopolitan "breadwinner" debt-slave that inevitably lives under his wife's thumb, barely gets to see his kids (and is too exhausted from his stupid humiliating jerb to really bond with them) and constantly has the spectre of divorce hanging over his head
