LOGIC + EMOTION = U 🥹🌈(🧐😘) (cameronlamp@newsie.social)'s status on Friday, 02-Feb-2024 07:07:15 JST LOGIC + EMOTION = U 🥹🌈(🧐😘) @annaecook I was looking for a new apt last year, the millennial landlord asked to do a background check, but instead of a report he asked for my socials.
"FB?"
"Nope. It destroyed my relationship with my extended family after the 2016 election"
"Oh. Insta?"
"No."
"Twitter?"
"Nope. I have Mastodon and Snapchat though!"
"Oh."There were a number of red flags, but social media stalking as roommate vetting was a new one for me.
Never heard back from him. It's a self-reinforcing cult!🤣
