If I say "donors control politics" nobody blinks. If I say "rich people are donors" nobody blinks. If I say rich people are funding fascism, nobody blinks.
But when I ask you to put that all together and accept that "rich people funding fascism and dominating our politics are not your friends and are pushing this entire thing into a direction that can only end in fascism" you're losing your shit because YOUR favorite rich ppl would never.

What am I talking about? Okay take Elon Musk for example. I'm old enough to remember a time when Elon Musk was a HERO because "electric cars" and "billionaires using their power for good" - Mutherfucker got a cameao in fucking Iron Man II ffs.

But stop pretending we're on the same side and that means I owe you something. I do not. Your leaders have helped create the situation the fascists are exploiting right now and have made it clear that if the choice is between surrendering the fuck barrel, and burning society to the ground, they're going to go with the later.
