   Yesterday, my doc told me to take Paxlovid and also said her mother went to get some and they quoted $1K. She got it cheaper using a coupon. Fortunately, my insurance covered it, but wtf is going on around here? 🙄

     In response to Laurie Garrett being a novid no longer “I have just tested + for #COVID19 -- my 1st time. I wear masks, but hardly anybody else does. Went to 6 pharmacies in search of #Paxlovid ...only one has the drug, but declined insurance & demanded $1600.38 for 5-day supply. Outrageous.”

     I read that insurance is going to stop covering it, but I got my prescription for $0 copay too. Whew. I thought that was going to happen in early 2024. Perhaps they reversed their decision. A hospital visit would be much more expensive.
