So, I went to #appleii and asked them to talk me out of buying an apple iigs. They didn't try very hard, in fact they did the opposite. Anyway, check out my new system! It's a ROM 01 iigs with a 2mb memory card. I added a microdrive turbo from ReactiveMicro and I just got it booting into GS/OS 6.01. Next step is digging up a serial cable so I can hook up my RS232 wifi modem and see if I can't find some cool BBSs. #retrocomputing #apple2 #retrocomputer #appleiigs
