   Raspberry PI is doing what now?

   Raspberry Pi is preparing for an IPO in London for likely more than $500M. Is it common for a nonprofit to do an IPO? It seems a little bit odd. But do I know about raising money 😂

     heh, I only saw a video yesterday on how RasPis are noncompetitive in view of price hikes and many X86 SBC alternatives that cost the same.

     @kaia @nixCraft they lost the only thing that made pi interesting - being affordable yet Good Enough. Now it's expensive and mediocre in the competition

     what a shame. they should have positioned themselves on the lower end price-wise and performance-wise, not compete with a desktop PC in both.
