   Why is it always "pwetty pwetty pwease won't you convert your empty building blighting the city and we'll give you some money" instead of "here's a massive tax on your shitty underoccupied building, get somebody in there, convert it or raze and rebuild it, we don't care, just get it done"

     @joat it's policy like this that is just an excellent clue as to whose interests and needs are centered. We're so brainwashed that half the time it seems like actual strong policy solutions don't even occur to folks anymore.

     We're so used to being abandoned.
