   And this climate progress is already happening despite Biden's IRA only starting to kick-in so this is amazing given the planning and construction time needed for utility scale solar and battery storage.

   Battery prices dropping like they've been is really the biggest part of the story that should give you hope that we'll be able to do what so many people tried to convince you never would, decarbonization.

   Storing electrons produced cleanly from the sun until needed is how #WeCanDoThis

     Good morning with some positive climate progress to help motivate people to keep making the effort to decarbonize.

     US solar will set a big new installation record in 2024.

     Utility scale solar will add 36.3 GW from Nov. 2023 to Oct. 2024, compared to 14.7 GW in prior 12 months.

     Batteries will add 12.3 GW, compared 5.3 GW.

     US utility scale solar up 150% and battery storage up 130%.
