Threads is currently the WORST of text based social media, just everyone one it is confidently wrong and a bit thick. More so than any place on the internet, more so than half the academics who commented to “not all academics” on my post about academics who then proved my hypothesis. It is Karen central.

It's the cognitive decline algorithm

There are a few people who are only on there, and some brands and companies I want to follow, but ironically the algorithm almost never shows me content I want to read. Instead it’s just endless bilge.
