     @asahi@floofy.city :neocat_googly_woozy: that number might be a bit missleading because it only tells you, how many instances your instance knows about. if those instances are up and federating is not reflected in that stat. for that, the pub / sub numbers are the better metric.

     @asahi@floofy.city the pub / sub numbers can't be more than the known instances number since your server has to know an instance to send and receive stuff from.
     
     but hey, those numbers will go up over time :neocat_floof:
