   Discord is bad, forums are good. Forums can be searched and indexed on search engines. Forums can have long form posts with more details for support or tutorials etc, and in forums we own our own data and can keep it online.

   Information stored in discord basically goes into a black hole that's hard to retrieve, is tied to having an invite to the server and using the discord client, and could disappear at any time.

   So please make the effort to use forums when you can
