    I wish there was an "Example Extension" or a "Template extension" available trough extensions.gnome.org that you could install and clone as a starting point when you want to create your own extension.

      Oh, well, now I learned about the Gnome extensions creator wizard that sets up a template extension for you by running

      $ gnome-extensions create --interactive

      Thanks, #Gnome!

      @dazo Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen. I don't know how to code and can't say I understand much of what I'm reading on that website. I have some ideas for extensions it would be fun to make, but I have so many things I'd love to do, and so little energy/self control to actually do any of it

      @forteller

      Could you do a quick write-up with an example extension somewhere when you've got something working?

      Been trying to do this a few times, but failing so far. Would like to wrap up something not too fancy for OpenVPN 3 Linux (which is fully D-Bus driven), just to start/stop VPN sessions and such.
