   my position: the usa justice-system is broken, because people aren't equality before the law anymore.

   1. procecuted class:
   donald trump and everybody close to him gets investigated for every possible small thing they might have done wrong.

   2. protected class:
   hunter and joe biden committing multiple crimes and either not getting investigated at all or a slap on the wrist.

     the problem isn't that you can not "afford a fucking lawyer".

     the problem is that the state has unlimited ressources to proscecute your ass.

     even if you get a lawyer yourself, the state can flood him with work and basically render him unable to defend you.

     it would be more fair if you can the amount of money the state can use to proscetute you..

     yes the state has to have more resources, because they have the burden of proof..

     so they get a maximum of 10x the amount of dollars that you're able to afford.

     and this is also counts for re-trials.

     some prosecutors deliberately force a miss-trial, because they know you can't afford a 2nd one.

     @mk Thank you for your feedback and info though. I want people to be able to legally protect and defend themselves, but it seems so impossible.

     the most important thing right now -and this is very sad- is the location of the actual trial.

     if it's a blue state judge and you're a trump supporter, you're going to have a bad time..
