-My point is that we’re just starting year five since Covid arrived and according to the latest update in The Economist, it may have already killed 35 million people. Look how many people AIDS has killed since the AIDS epidemic started. In 2022 the total number was roughly 40 million. Almost as many people as Covid has already (possibly) killed in just under 5 years. 🤷♂️ https://www.unaids.org/en/resources/fact-sheet

Brad Mitchell (brad@zeroes.ca)'s status on Friday, 26-Jan-2024 13:49:17 JST Brad Mitchell Dozens of people I knew died from AIDS in the 80s, and it was horrible. There are comparisons that can be made with Covid like they both start out with “mild” flu like symptoms, cause damage to the immune system etc., our governments pretend it’s not happening, lies about the true numbers and “others” the victims because “it largely only affects a certain minority or demographic”. We’re @ Yr 5! 🤦♂️ https://www.economist.com/graphic-detail/coronavirus-excess-deaths-estimates?fsrc=core-app-economist
