     Loads of split kb like these have a waiting period tho. Although I like Quentin and his keyboards I hate waiting so I never bought anything from him.

     just looking to get comfy and get started with split keyboards. I guess the only thing I won't compromise on is programmability.
     
     idk about the moonlander, looking at the 1-1 pdf they have it doesn't look uncomfortably big

     also don't get the moonlander the thumb is way too far out, causes injury. let me know your needs/wants i can make suggestions. cheap diy is good, if you don't want to do it yourself, you can buy them used on reddit

     I'm torn between the moonlander and some cheaper DIY alternative, but I don't have much experience with electronics

     i like it a lot. i actually am building my own keyboard, an improvement on the ergodox. Pic related. But I don't know the word in polish for wire (the kind you'd use in electronics) so i can't buy that stuff on allegro and so it's not wired up. a pretty stupid thing to cause a delay, i guess.
