   Watching the first episode of Draw the Line and it is fascinating to see how the courts in China work. This drama is about various cases that these judges solve. Apparently they are based on real-life cases.

   Admittedly, I started watching this because Cheng Yi is starring in it, but I am enjoying how high quality everyone's acting is here. Such light years of difference in terms of quality from the typical idol drama 😅

     @chris_mahan I don't know why, but Netflix only chooses to stream idol dramas rather than shows like these, which is preferred by folks in China and east Asia. You can watch Draw the Line on Youtube, however, but the subtitles are not great

     @chris_mahan it's more like Netflix doesn't bother to pick up these shows. They only pick up idol dramas for some reason. And as a result some international folks believe that's representative of all Chinese dramas 😩

     Btw there are, er, not so legit sites with good subs for it tho. Just holler of you are flexible about these things 😜

     @liztai Oh thank you! I think it’s too bad about the subtitles, but I know that work is thankless.
     And yes, I wish there was a Netflix Global Premium subscription that showed all shows from all countries.

     @chris_mahan lol for now. If you are watching the Youtube one it's gets spotty at times. And if you understand Mandarin you will be massively distracted by how inaccurate it is 😆 I understand Mandarin but not to the level where I can understand legal terms so I needed the subs. But I think you should be fine.
