I am not down on AI as a concept but I hate the AI SEO pretty bad. It reminds me of before I quit television. Ads extract just enough attention that it's hard to look away, but then it says nothing of value. Like eating a giant wad of cotton candy or something maybe?
Found an article "explaining" the tradeoffs of using Solidity vs. Rust for writing your blockchain smart contracts. Must have been written by AI because it can't clearly articulate that you can't write contracts in Rust on any except for a few platforms, so they are not a real "choice" you can make, it just talks about Rust type safety lol. okay, but I still can't use it.

It's been getting worse every year especially with IT related topics. When I was setting my mail server on RHEL8, I had to look up like 6 articles about Dovecot/Pigeonhole when I was configuring it and most of them were clearly not written by anything resembling a human. Eventually gave up on trying to find a shortcut and read the documentation.
The fact that Google's first page is riddled with advertisements doesn't help. The first usable result is usually 3rd or 4th. And people's transition to querying for questions instead of closely related keywords doesn't help either. Google is much better at answering questions, than answering keywords.

@Moon My favorite example of this that Ive run into was an article that claimed the proper conversion for Celsius to Fahrenheit was X*33.8, because 1 C = 33.8 F. I've also seen one claim pork was vegan.
