   Instead everything is a "feed" designed to make you click a link to a “page" which has a fresh supply of ads for you to look at.

     I think one reason “internet news" feels so everywhelming is that the design patterns are not high-density and there is no real concept of a 1-paragraph article like you would see in a newspaper or news magazine.
