     Comme l'orateur est géographe, il ajoute une couche en dessous de la couche physique : la couche géographique (le terrain).

     Point méthodo : étudier l'Internet nécessite que le géographe apprenne pas mal d'informatique (par exemple pour utiliser les sondes RIPE Atlas).

     Le routage est évidemment (géo)politique. Par exemple, il détermine si on passe par tel ou tel point de contrôle et donc la censure qu'on voit ou pas (cas de la Russie).

     @bortzmeyer Bin déjà, il ne marche pas. Si les paquets IP se déplaçaient à pied, la latence serait quelque peu mauvaise ☝
