I get that it's an irritating distraction for folks. I feel the same way sometimes when people bring up SpaceX. Totally understand that it isn't your cup of tea!
@derek builds ginormous, Germania-style blimp construction and maintenance hangars and then silently goes bankrupt and down the drain before even a single prototype has left the ground. (CargoLifter is mentioned in the article. It instantly brings to mind the activities the beloved UK/US space billionaire boys, but CL was cheaper and not aiming to leave the stratosphere.)

@derek @derek No offense, but here in Germany, home of the Zeppelin (himself), ever since the Hindenburg went up in a fireball, every ten to fifteen years another over-equipped aerospace-loving middle-aged fully-grown-up boy tries to push blimps as green, efficient, smart, powerful alternative means of transporting cargo or people, babbles on the media about it for years, lobbies the hell out of it, collects and burns millions of Euros in VC and public funding, (1/2)
