I've mentioned this lie before. If someone *not* from your country is your 'neighbor' the term 'neighbor' is meaningless. "countrymen" is meaning.
They do this, on purpose or not, to obscure.
"Treat your neighbor like yourself" has a very specific meaning, and it sure as hell isn't "let mexican rapists eat your food"

@Laurel More specifically, you have to take it in account with the previous portion about wisely managing money and understand there is no "you helped a million people that needed food so you are more righteous."
We also have enough poor people in this country without needing to import them.

@sickburnbro
Matthew 25:35 is more connected with welcome a stranger but is still completely different from accepting millions of invasors inside your country just because you "believe it's right".

Also, if you will follow this rule... You can't follow it and ignore other rules

Same for "help the poor". He was not talking about "collect taxes to help the poor you don't even know".

@pepsi_man People have just been stretching the meaning of it to try and guilt people into caring about strangers for way too long. The point is that you are supposed to work on community cohesion because sometimes neighbors can do annoying stuff, and you're supposed to get over it.

@sickburnbro in biblical times neighbor meant co-ethnic if not flesh and blood relative
Rapist spics are neither of those things to me.

@sickburnbro exactly. That's my real beef with American Christianity. They've allowed lefty word games to infiltrate the faith. That's why I drop subtle red pills at church potlucks. My people deserve better than to be lied to by kikes.
