   @scottjenson I always find the reaction by non-eu people baffling. They seem to blame the EU.

   When you see these, it’s because the sites are by default mining you for money. Selling you. The fact it’s so often and so annoying should be a mirror to how often it’s done and how utterly ignorant of it non-EU people are.

     I've only been in the EU for a week and those "Are you sure you don't mind cookies?" Web prompts are driving me bananas!

     I've heard about this, but to experience it first hand is..... eye opening
