More than 5 million people are in fuel debt or have been disconnected this winter, and yet the Chancellor wants tax cuts that will not help those in most need. Why are our politicians so callous?

Mrs Cloudy (cloudymrs@mastodon.scot)'s status on Tuesday, 23-Jan-2024 17:11:45 JST Mrs Cloudy @RichardJMurphy I know it's really a rhetorical question, but a real answer might be the fact that most of those now in power went to schools that taught them to be callous from infancy and which rewarded those who showed an aptitude for it.
